Veniamin Kondratyev: Krasnodar Region again ranks among Russia’s top ten regions by realised investment

«In the first half of 2026, investment in the Krasnodar Region exceeded 410 billion roubles. By this indicator, we have again ranked among the top ten regions in Russia and taken first place in the Southern Federal District. Since the beginning of the year, 46 projects worth around 40 billion roubles have been completed. These include establishment and development of manufacturing facilities, the construction of hotel and restaurant complexes and other facilities. About 770 further projects, worth 5.8 trillion roubles, are currently under way. They are expected to create over 154,000 jobs,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.
The Governor emphasised that the region’s investment portfolio consists mainly of industrial production, health resorts, and tourism. Together, these sectors account for over 70% of the investment projects currently under way. The industrial portfolio includes 160 projects with a total value exceeding 2.6 trillion roubles. These projects involve establishing new facilities and developing existing production in mechanical engineering, unmanned technologies, pharmaceuticals, and the medical industry. The hospitality portfolio comprises more than 220 projects worth 1.5 trillion roubles. They include the construction and refurbishment of hotels, guest houses, and health resorts.
To attract investment, the Krasnodar Region offers a range of support measures. Their number has more than quadrupled since 2020, reaching 225. These measures include tax exemption and other preferences, low‑interest loans and guarantees from regional development institutions, and the allocation of plots without tender.

The Krasnodar Region is one of Russia’s most attractive regions for investment. It ranked fourth in the 2026 National Investment Climate Ranking compiled by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. In 2025, fixed-capital investment exceeded 1 trillion roubles.
